Hezbollah members guard the coffins of 199 militants near Beirut on Thursday. The bodies were exchanged along with five living terrorists held by Israel for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers who were abducted and killed during Israel's 2006 war in Lebanon. The swap has sparked outrage in Israel, with critics accusing Ehud Olmert's government of encouraging terrorist kidnappings.

Colombian Military Siezes FARC Marijuana

By AP | Friday, July 11, 2008 4:30 PM PT

Packs of marijuana are spread out at a military base in Cali, Colombia, on Friday. Four tons of the drug belonging to rebels of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, were seized in the southern state of Cauca. Colombia has dealt severe blows to the drug-running terrorist group in the last year — another reason why the country ought to be favored with a free-trade pact with the U.S.
